Living Room
This Mayfair apartment is one of our finest one-bedroom properties. The standard is outstanding and has just been completely refurbished. Hay Hill is a small street just below Berkeley Square between Berkeley Street on the west and Grafton/Dover Street on the east. Old Bond Street is one block away--amazing location! Restaurants, the finest shopping, magnificent jewelers, fine clothing are immediate to this apartment. The Royal Academy of Arts on Piccadilly is moments away. Buckingham Palace, Apsley House, and the Hard Rock are all within five minutes. The Green Park tube station on the Piccadilly line is five minutes away, just next to the Ritz Hotel. Perfect location, absolutely. For many, it is the best location in London. The apartment itself is located in one of the most beautiful portered buildings in Mayfair. The two porters and the building manager are very professional gentlemen, much in the hearts of returning clients to the Hay Hill properties. The flat itself is very beautiful with all its modern conveniences and up-dated furnishings. The old moldings, high ceilings, and marble fireplaces give a feeling of beauty and age. The lounge is wonderful with excellent contemporary furniture and excellent decorative details--all new. One of the sofas is a pull-out sofa. The bathroom has a shower, wash hand basin, and loo--all top standard. The kitchen has washer/dryer, microwave, hob, and oven--large window. It is a very fine kitchen with good quality machines. The bedroom with high ceilings and decorative marble fireplace has a queen size double bed, excellent storage, massive windows, and good lighting. The property throughout is of the highest standard. The accommodation is on the second floor with a nicely restored, highly decorative, large period black cage lift. The property is owned by one of Europe's most famous noble families and once used as a guest apartment for the head of this important family. Fantastic property. HIGH-SPEED INTERNET wireless router (802.llb, g) has been installed for those traveling with computers. Excellent for 2 persons + 1 person in the sofa bed. Property is designated non-smoking.
